Senior Support Engineer
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

Looking for a highly motivated individual to provide technical support for new and existing systems. Must be available US ET business hours.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide world-class technical support for a variety of sophisticated, end-user financial applications.
  • Liaise with DevSecOps, dev and other support teams as needed to deliver quick solutions to clients.
  • Some light coding/scripting may be required.
  • Data analysis and crafting custom reports based on ad hoc user requests.
  • Documenting solutions and building a technical support knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level, n-tier, software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft C#.
  • Experience with source control tools (Git preferred).
  • Knowledge of OOP, server technologies, and SOA is a must. Micro-service experience is a plus.
  • SQL query and data analyst experience (Postgres is preferred).
  • Basic understanding of common AWS services (S3, CloudFront, etc) and how they can be applied to solve business problems.
  • Financial services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action. You love to solve client issues and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on verbal communication, technical writing and analytical problem-solving. Very strong English skills are required.
  • Full remote set-up

Nice to Haves:

  • Java knowledge.
  • Familiarity with CI pipelines.
  • More in-depth DevOps experience, especially regarding Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
