Responsibilities:
- In order to perform the role of QA, you will need to be trained; and as part of your QA training, you will learn how to perform certain tasks by taking part in QA processes, reading and analysis of requirements, writing and implementation of test plans/cases, testing of websites/web applications
- Bug reporting if you find any issues in a website and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensuring the overall quality of the sites delivered, functional and non-functional testing
- Data collection and collaboration, working closely with developers and designers
- Writing, reviewing, and updating document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolution
- Continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for website improvement and add suggestions to improve functionality and/or performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related courses
- Experience QA testing on popular CMS/e-Commerce platforms (such as WordPress, Shopify a plus)
- Experience in responsive design testing (usability, web layout responsiveness across desktop, laptop, mobile)
- Good knowledge of web development standards and testing tools
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS is a plus
- Technical understanding of web development lifecycle
- Passion for quality, ensuring that the website meets the highest standards of quality and usability
- Must be adaptable, flexible, and possess a sense of urgency
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Amenable to work 9AM – 6PM, Mon - Fri; onsite (Ayala Center Cebu Tower, Cebu Business Park) a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Familiar with WordPress and/or Shopify and other CMS platforms
- Familiar with SEO
- Familiar with Web Design best practices especially for mobile-responsive web designs
